There are six Premier League matches to take in this Saturday, starting with the Manchester derby at 12:30pm, as United face City at Old Trafford.

A trio of relegation six-pointers will then highlight the action at 3pm, with Nottingham Forest hosting Leicester, West Ham visiting Wolves and bottom of the table Southampton travelling to Everton.

Brighton vs Liverpool is also a 3pm start, while the day's evening fixture will see Brentford welcome Bournemouth to the Gtech Community Stadium.

Man Utd vs Man City (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Depending on your viewpoint, United are either in their best run of form for a number of years or have benefitted from a very easy series of post-World Cup fixtures.

Saturday's game is the acid test for how much progress the Red Devils have actually made under Erik Ten Hag since October's Etihad Stadium annihilation.

Goals look assured and the prospect of both teams finding the net seem bright considering the Citizens have kept only two clean sheets in their last eight Premier League games and United's risible recent derby record.

Brighton vs Liverpool (Saturday, 3pm)

Liverpool's recent away record is not as good as normal, but they have matched up well against Brighton in recent years and have won five of their last six in Sussex.

Mohamed Salah has enjoyed himself in games on the South Coast and can shoot Jurgen Klopp's team to victory in an entertaining affair where both teams will probably trade goals at some point.

The visitors have won with both teams scoring in four of their last five Premier League fixtures and another such victory looks the play.

Everton vs Southampton (Saturday, 3pm)

While there should be an asterisk placed next to Southampton's 2-0 victory over Manchester City given the champions' rotation and questionable focus, that shock success will have lifted a Saints squad who were starting to look devoid of belief.

But Premier League performances are the key marker and neither Everton nor Southampton have been able to perform under the pressure of a relegation scrap - adding both teams to score to a Bet Builder makes sense given how nervous the two defences have looked.

And, with neither defence looking capable of shutting out their opponent and both managers likely to focus on holding a point rather than chasing a winner if scores are level late on, a score draw makes most appeal.

Nottingham Forest vs Leicester (Saturday, 3pm)

Nottingham Forest's revival could continue as they are catching Leicester at a vulnerable time when confidence is low and reinforcements are desperately needed.

The Reds have shown resilience in their last two home games against Chelsea and Wolves by staying in the game when under pressure.

The one aspect that could prevent Forest from picking up all three points in this game is their inefficient finishing as they have one of the three worst shot conversion rates in the division.

Wolves vs West Ham (Saturday, 3pm)

Wolves appear to be on an upswing and, despite exiting the Carabao Cup last time out, will be confident of getting a win when they return to home soil against West Ham.

One thing that seems highly probable when these two teams meet is that defences will come out on top.

Only two Premier League clubs average fewer than the 2.17 goals per game when David Moyes' side are in action and one of those is Wolves.

Brentford vs Bournemouth (Saturday 5:30pm)

The Cherries' confidence looks to have eroded sharply since the World Cup and some calamitous individual errors are being made on a weekly basis.

Contrastingly, the Bees are buzzing and even proved they can cope without top scorer Ivan Toney in their 3-1 win over Liverpool when Yoane Wissa enjoyed the limelight for a change.

Brentford, with Toney back, are likely to be operating on a different level than Bournemouth so there should be an opportunity for Frank's team to collect another three points here.

Bournemouth have lost each of their last three games by more than one goal, with Brentford available to back at 11/10 with LiveScore Bet to cover a -1 handicap in Saturday's fixture.
