Marcel Sabitzer is determined to lift more trophies with Manchester United this season.

A deadline-day loan arrival from Bayern Munich, Austrian international Sabitzer has featured nine times so far for the Red Devils, including their recent Carabao Cup final success over Newcastle at Wembley.

United are also in contention for FA Cup and Europa League glory, while a top-four finish in the Premier League remains firmly in their hands.

Midfield ace Sabitzer, who netted his first goal for the club against Fulham last weekend, believes Erik ten Hag’s commitment will bring more success to Old Trafford before the campaign ends.

Sabitzer told the club's official website: "The manager does a lot of work. He is a hard worker, very structured and he’s helping us a lot with his game plans and with training.

"He’s a very good coach, tactical, and as a guy too. We are enjoying the fact that he is our manager and are looking forward to working together to bring more trophies to Man Utd."

Though his future beyond this term remains unclear, the 29-year-old is clearly enjoying his time in England.

He explained: "I felt a bond from the very first moment. The spirit in the dressing room and the connection between the players. It’s something special.

"So it was very easy for me to come in and have relationships with the guys. I enjoy being in this group and, as I said, we are ready to go."

Though plenty of United stars are enjoying strong individual campaigns, Sabitzer believes his versatility will ensure he sees plenty of action between now and late May.

He added: "In modern football, there are a lot of tactical things going around. You switch during a game so you have to be versatile. I think I am and I think it helps me a lot.

"I was a striker, I was as a winger, a No10, midfielder. So, yeah, I think I’m versatile. I think that I can help the team a lot, so I’m very happy with my role.

"I know what I want in my career. I want to win trophies and have an impact at big clubs."
