There are six races to come at Sandown on Wednesday night

It should be a glorious evening at Sandown for their six-race card, which begins at 6pm and goes through to 8.45pm.

The ground is described as good to firm, good in places and it is likely the course will be watered beforehand.

Here are our five horses to follow across the meeting.

6pm - Sivori Apprentice Handicap (1m2f)

DAWN VIEW has been in the best form of her career recently, with two wins from her last three starts.

She made all in an impressive performance over this distance at Brighton on her penultimate outing.

A hat-trick of wins did not arrive last time out as she had to settle for second place of nine runners in a 1m contest.

She will appreciate this step up in trip again. And off just a 1lb higher mark, she has strong claims.

LiveScore Selection: Dawn View

6.30pm - British Stallion Studs EBF Maiden Fillies' Stakes (5f)

There was a lot of encouragement shown from WHITE JASMINE in her opening two runs on the track.

She showed enough in those appearances for her connections to take their chance in the Group Two Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot, where she finished a long way down the field.

This assignment is going to be much easier for George Boughey's filly.

She sets the standard and it looks like a great opportunity for her to break her maiden at the third attempt.

LiveScore Selection: White Jasmine

7pm - Sir Wilford Brett Handicap (7f)

A first success still awaits MATAMUA, who has made five appearances so far.

She has come very close on her last three outings. This will be just her second attempt in handicap company and she is off a mark, which gives her a great chance.

There are six runners in this handicap contest over 7f and Simon and Ed Crisford's runner will be receiving weight from all of the opposition.

She is the most unexposed horse in the field and the one to side with.

LiveScore Selection: Matamua

8.10pm Sandown Park Breeders' Day September 15 Handicap (1m2f)

Despite running green in the business end of the race, SEA SYLPH prevailed over this distance at Windsor on just her second career start.

She was unable to follow that up at Kempton (1m4f) on the AW last time. The distance on that occasion may have just been a little too far for her.

William Haggas' runner is now featuring in a handicap for the first time. She has been handed an opening mark of 83, which could prove quite lenient.

Expect to see her shine now she has some experience on her side.

LiveScore Selection: Sea Sylph

8.45pm - Owen Williams Handicap (1m6f)

There was a significant improvement shown from SNOWALOT last time out at Salisbury (1m6f) as he prevailed by over four lengths to get off the mark in style.

James Ferguson's gelding travelling strongly throughout that contest and then stretched away from the field inside the final 2f.

A 5lb penalty is unlikely to be enough to stop the four-year-old from following up and doubling his tally.

LiveScore Selection: Snowalot
