It's a big week on the Flat calendar with the Oaks and Derby to look forward to on Friday and Saturday respectively.
Before then, there is some excellent action to enjoy, including the afternoon card from Nottingham on Wednesday.
We've looked through the meeting and come up with five picks from the card, which begins at 1pm and runs through to 4.15pm.
1pm - British Stallion Studs EBF Maiden Fillies' Stakes (5f)
The action begins with a maiden for fillies where a number of the entries will be making their appearance at a racecourse for the first time.
SHAKENOTSTIRRED is one of only a few who have had the benefit of a run before and that experience will really help her in this 5f contest.
Sean Woods' filly made an encouraging debut at Sandown last month where she finished second of five runners. She ran green in large parts of that contest before running on strongly in the closing stages.
If she steps up from that outing, she could be tough to beat.
LiveScore Selection: Shakenotstirred
1.30pm - Betstival Season At Mansionbet Handicap (1m6f)
Hollie Doyle is on course for another fantastic year in the saddle as she has made an excellent start to the campaign.
She has a good chance of adding to her tally in this 1m6f handicap with OCEANLINE who will need to carry top weight. The three-year-old gelding is still a maiden after six starts but this step up in trip should really suit him.
His trips so far have been on the short side according to his breeding. Fandabidozi and Norman Kindu are the only previous winners in the field but it is Alan King's gelding who can take advantage of his drop in the weights.
LiveScore Selection: Oceanline
2.05pm - Mansionbets Summer Of Love-ly Offers Fillies' Handicap (6f)
This is a competitive 6f sprint where strong cases can be made for Heptathlete, Company Minx and Al Simmo, three horses who are looking to follow up from recent success.
There are also two C&D winners in the field in Penny Pot Lane and Lady Monica. The most unexposed filly in the race is AVEBURY who will be making her handicap debut.
She was second of eight on her last appearance at Ayr over this distance. This looks a lenient mark for her to begin handicapping and if she improves from her last run, she is in with an excellent chance of losing her maiden tag.
LiveScore Selection: Avebury
2.35pm - Mansionbets Betstival Beaten By A Head Handicap (5f)
The feature race on this card is this class 3 handicap over 5f. This is a really open contest and it could come down to a battle between the two highest rated horses in the field, Rebel At Dawn and CRIMSON SAND.
They both are off a mark where they are very capable of scoring from. Preference should be given to Crimson Sand. He started the season with back-to-back success.
He was then very unlucky last time at Ascot as he did not get a clear run which ruined his chances of landing a hat-trick. He has a great opportunity to make up for that previous outing on this latest assignment.
LiveScore Selection: Crimson Sand
3.40pm - Mansionbet #Betstival Handicap (1m)
There are some potentially smart three-year-olds in this 1m affair who could go onto much bigger prizes than this in the near future.
Qaasid, who, represents Sir Michael Stoute, is one of those and it will be interesting to see if he can add to his impressive success at Kempton earlier this year.
The horse which makes the biggest appeal is SEVENAL. He is a son of Sea The Stars who prevailed over this distance at Windsor last month.
Frankie Dettori partners the colt and it is his only ride on the card so he will be hoping it is not a wasted trip to Nottingham.
LiveScore Selection: Sevenal.
