LiveScore Racing Preview: Kempton, November 24, 2021
An evening of all-weather racing lies in store at Kempton Park on Wednesday with eight races taking place on the Polytrack at the Sunbury circuit.
They get underway at 4.45pm with the final race going to post at 8.15pm and we have picked out five to follow on the card.
4.45pm - Try Our New Price Boosts At Unibet Restricted Maiden Stakes (7f)
Fourth Time Lucky has twice been placed third in two starts on turf, most recently at Redcar over this trip three weeks ago and should be in the firing line if adapting to this surface, but maybe THOMAS EQUINAS will be wiser for September's Newmarket debut.
He was behind a couple of promising rivals and displayed some ability while clearly in need of the experience and there should be more to come.
LiveScore selection: Thomas Equinas
5.45pm - Unibet British Stallion Studs EBF Restricted Novice Stakes (6f)
He has a penalty to carry but HARRY THREE was a ready winner on debut over C&D six weeks ago for Clive Cox and is fancied to build on that experience now.
He is the one the others have to aim at.
This does not look the strongest race on paper and Roamin In Gloamin might find this more to his liking after failing to finish strongly on soft ground at Redcar on debut — he could be one for a place.
LiveScore selection: Harry Three
6.15pm - Try Our New Super Boosts At Unibet Nursery (1m)
THEY DON'T KNOW was a three-figure price for a novice contest here in August over C&D and ran accordingly but both Chelmsford efforts since (7f/1m) have been much more encouraging.
He was second last time on nursery bow in a first-time tongue-tie having attempted to come with a late run and just failed.
He is 3lb higher now but this track should lend itself to his hopes with a similar closing push.
LiveScore selection: They Don't Know
7.15pm - British Stallion Studs EBF Hyde Stakes (Listed) (All Weather Championships Fast-Track Qualifier, 1m)
The feature race on the night carries a first prize of £31k and has attracted an excellent field of 10 runners.
LADY ROCKSTAR is far from exposed and she won a Wolverhampton maiden last month by a dozen lengths, just rewards after some pleasing turf runs.
She will need further improvement to bag this contest but William Haggas' Frankel filly looks to be going in the right direction now and she might find the extra under Cieren Fallon.
LiveScore selection: Lady Rockstar
8.15pm - Unibet New Instant Roulette Handicap (1m3f)
Crown Power was second over C&D at the start of the month and has scope to do better still for James Fanshawe but ACED IT might be the answer in a tough finale.
Camilla Poulton's gelding has a win and two more solid runs from three visits to Kempton since joining this trainer from Ireland last year.
Though he stays further, this ease in trip should be fine and he's been freshened up since last spotted at Epsom in September — he has got plenty in his favour with Jack Mitchell back on board.
