There is plenty more action to enjoy on day two of the Aintree Festival

Friday marks day two of the Aintree Festival and there are four Grade One races scheduled, including the Melling Chase.

The card takes place from 1.45pm until 5.15pm and the official going at the Merseyside racecourse is 'good to soft, good' in places.

Here are our horses to follow in all seven races.

1.45pm - 20 Years Together, Alder Hey & Aintree Handicap Hurdle (2m4f - Grade 3)

LANGER DAN was fancied to run a big race in the Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival last month but was brought down early on.

Connections of the horse will be hoping to gain some compensation at Aintree as Dan Skelton's runner has been trained to peak at the back end of the season.

He is off a very workable mark and looks to be the one they all have to beat in the opener on day two.

LiveScore selection: Langer Dan

2.20pm - Betway Top Novices' Hurdle (2m½f - Grade 1)

Jonbon is looking to end campaign on a positive note

JONBON proved no match for Constitution Hill in the Supreme Novices' Hurdle last month.

But that form is likely to prove to be very good over the next 12 months.

The Supreme runner-up can finish the season on a high in this Grade One race at Aintree.

Henderson's novice finished his race at Cheltenham with a faster time than the Champion Hurdle winner Honeysuckle.

And a repeat of what he has shown so far is likely to be enough here.

LiveScore selection: Jonbon

2.55pm - Betway Mildmay Novices' Chase (3m1f - Grade 1)

It has been a faultless novice chase campaign for L'HOMME PRESSE so far.

Venetia Williams' runner was too good for his rivals in the Brown Advisory Novices' Chase, scoring by just over three lengths.

The Cheltenham Gold Cup is going to be the target next season for this talented seven-year-old and he can showcase his credentials for that race with another Grade One success.

LiveScore selection: L'Homme Presse

3.30pm - Marsh Chase (2m4f - Grade 1)

Connections of FAKIR D'OUDAIRIES opted against another clash with Allaho in the Ryanair Chase.

Given how impressive Willie Mullins' runner was in the day three contest at the Festival, it looks like they made a good decision.

Joseph O'Brien's chaser looked in great form when he claimed the Ascot Chase back in February and he can become just the sixth back-to-back winner of this race.

LiveScore selection: Fakir D'oudairies

4.05pm - Randox Topham Handicap Chase (2m5f - Grade 3)

The Grand National fences are in action for the second time this week in the Topham Handicap Chase.

Nicky Henderson has won this race a record five times and he could be set to extend his record with MISTER COFFEY

The novice chaser has been running well without success this season.

He finished second to L'Homme Presse on his penultimate outing at Sandown (2m4f) and the seven Barrows runner then came home the runner-up in the Kim Muir.

Off a mark of 141, he will have a great chance of landing the first prize on this occasion.

LiveScore selection: Mister Coffey

4.40pm - Cavani Menswear Sefton Novices' Hurdle (3m½f - Grade 1)

SKYTASTIC is unbeaten in four appearances on the track, two of which have come over hurdles this season.

On the most recent start, he came out on top in a novice contest at Ascot (2m3½f).

It is interesting that Sam Thomas has opted to step the horse up in trip for this latest assignment.

It is obviously a much stronger test than he has faced so far but his profile suggests he can rise to the challenge.

LiveScore selection: Skytastic

5.15pm - Park Palace Ponies Handicap Hurdle (2m½f)

It has been a consistent opening campaign for WASHINGTON over fences.

Olly Murphy's runner has recorded two wins but he has also been in the mix at the finish on his three other starts.

The six-year-old won readily at Southwell (2m) last month and he sets the standard in this finale on the card.

LiveScore selection: Washington
