After landing his Over 2.5 Goals selection in Leicester's clash with Aston Villa last week, Simon Barlow takes a look at the best bets for the Foxes' home game against Tottenham on Saturday.

Leicester will look to make it back-to-back Premier League wins for the first time since November when, on Saturday afternoon, they entertain a Tottenham side that downed Manchester City last time out.

Brendan Rodgers let the handbrake off with an attacking lineup against Aston Villa and, aided by a returning striker and some Brazilian flair, the Foxes got on a roll to run out 4-2 victors.

Leicester will try to keep it going against a Spurs team who look set to have boss Antonio Conte back in their technical area.

Harry Kane's landmark goal in their 1-0 success over the champions last weekend would have been the perfect pick-me-up for the absent Italian tactician as he recovered from an operation to remove his gall bladder.

Team news

Rodgers has no reason to change a winning team after he bravely dropped Nampalys Mendy to the bench and began the game at Villa Park without a recognised defensive midfielder.

Youri Tielemans and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall played central roles with James Maddison operating behind Kelechi Iheanacho, while flanked by Harvey Barnes and new signing Tete.

Harry Souttar overcame the ignominy of scoring an own goal on his debut and will almost certainly start alongside Wout Faes in central defence.

Jonny Evans and Ricardo Pereira are closing on their returns to first-team action, but Boubakary Soumare will have to wait another week while Wilfred Ndidi is back in contention after missing out at Villa Park for personal reasons.

Spurs will be forced to alter their winning formula after Cristian Romero was sent for an early bath against City and skipper Hugo Lloris suffered a knee ligament injury that will keep him out for six to eight weeks.

Fraser Forster will take over the gloves and Davinson Sanchez is the favourite to replace Romero, having performed very well on his last start at Preston in the FA Cup.

Pedro Porro could replace Emerson Royal on the right and make his Spurs debut with no other changes expected.

That would leave Richarlison, who has played just 35 minutes of Premier League football since the World Cup, to sit on the bench once more.

The stats

Tete became the 35th Brazilian to appear in the Premier League this season, as many from that country as either Spain or France and far outweighing the previous record number of players from that part of South America to appear in England's top flight.

Leicester City's first Samba star completed five take-ons in total, the most by a Foxes player in a single game this season.

Iheanacho recorded his 31st assist in Foxes colours last weekend, his tally being only five shy of Maddison's 36 despite coming from the equivalent of around 52 90-minute matches fewer.

In only three Premier League matches this season have Leicester allowed more than the 19 shots they did against Aston Villa last weekend.

Kane has scored more goals against the Foxes than against any other side (20) — 18 of those goals have come in the Premier League, with only Alan Shearer netting more against one opponent (20 against Leeds).

Prediction

This would have been chalked up as an easy away win for Spurs a few weeks ago, but Leicester have come from behind to take points in each of their last two league games — something they had not done until the 2-2 draw with Brighton.

They still look a bit too open at the back and susceptible to crosses from the left-hand side, but there is a lot of creativity and cohesion going forward that can produce goalmouth action and entertainment.

Kane may get his customary goal against them, for which he is 19/20 anytime with LiveScore Bet, but Rodgers' side have growing belief and will cause enough trouble at the other end to score a couple themselves.

A game with at least four strikes seems highly possible given the two clubs' recent records.

Back over 3.5 goals in the game at 15/8 with LiveScore Bet.

You can combine both selections in a Bet Builder that pays out at just under 3/1.
