On an all-weather day of racing, our focus is on Kempton's seven-race card on Monday

After an unforgettable weekend of racing action, things are slightly more sedate-paced on Monday, with three UK meetings taking place.

Our focus is on the afternoon meeting from Kempton Park and we have picked out five to follow on the card.

1.15pm - Unibet Horserace Betting Operator Of The Year Handicap (6f)

Handicap debutant Thomas Equinas is a potential improver for the Dean Ivory team, but his opening marking demands just that.

Ringo Starlight did well to be second at Southwell six days ago having started slowly but the one to beat is EXCELING for the Richard Hannon team.

The filly gained her second C&D win here earlier in the month and did so seemingly with a bit in hand. A 4lb rise might not halt Rossa Ryan's mount now.

LiveSore selection: Exceling

2.15pm - Unibet Extra Place Offers Every Day Handicap (7f)

FLORENCE STREET could not register a win with Andrew Balding (0-12) but she had plenty of near misses during 2021 and almost certainly has victories in her at this modest level.

She did not fire in last month's stable bow for Lydia Richards but from the widest stall at Chelmsford, she was away slowly and never really stood a chance.

She is better berthed now and has gone close over C&D from higher in the ratings before, so William Carson's partner is an each-way contender taken to leave that previous run behind.

LiveScore selection: Florence Street

2.45pm - Unibet 3 Uniboosts A Day Handicap (7f)

Shoot To Kill made it 3-3 since joining Robyn Brisland when scoring at Lingfield, narrowly, on Saturday.

If he turns up 48 hours later the 5lb penalty he carries will be offset by Harry Davies' claim.

Street Kid meanwhile, has won 2-3 lately for Kevin Philippart De Foy, both at Wolverhampton, and is only up a further 1lb now. He was held here in the middle of those three runs, however.

SIR MAXI has run well in both starts since moving to Richard Fahey, narrowly missing out at Newcastle 18 days ago over this trip when racing keenly in a slow-run race.

This is a tougher event on paper but a decent gallop might favour him.

LiveScore selection: Sir Maxi

3.15pm - Unibet 3 Uniboosts A Day Conditions Stakes (AW Championships Fast-Track Qualifier, 6f)

Seven runners and a good majority of them have questions over their claims right now.

Adaay In Asia won three times as a 2YO including two AW scores around Lingfield.

It is not hard to overlook her final run in the Tattersalls October Stakes at Newmarket and if she is at concert-pitch on this return she has big claims.

KABOO looks a talented colt for Karl Burke. He was given three tough summer assignments on grass (Listed/Group 3 contests) but shaped well and easily won all-weather novice races at Wolverhampton and Newcastle in September and December over 5f.

This extra furlong should not trouble him and he is the one to beat on paper.

LiveScore Selection: Kaboo

4.20pm - Unibet New Instant Roulette Handicap (1m4f)

Both Reset Button and BLAZER TWO come into this contest hoping to cure a dose of second-itis, after runner-up finishes in their last three starts apiece.

Ian Williams' charge was clear of the remainder when narrowly denied over C&D this month by an in-form winner but the votes goes to Michael Scudamore's Cable Bay gelding to shed his maiden tag after a short break.

He was behind a next-time-out winner at Wolverhampton in early November when second and his second over C&D that same month was in a decent contest for this grade.

LiveScore selection: Blazer Two
