India eased to a series victory against West Indies as they won the fourth T20I by 59 runs in Florida on Saturday.

It was a team effort with the bat for India as Rohit Sharma's 33 from 16 balls, including three sixes, was added to with Suryakumar Yadav's 24 off 14 as the openers put on a partnership of 53 before the captain was bowled by Akeal Hosein.

Deepak Hooda added 21 while Rishabh Pant's 44 from 31 balls helped put his team in a strong position heading into the final five overs.

Sanju Samson's 30 was complimented by a quickfire 20 from Axar Patel as India set their opponents a target of 192.

After a wobbly start, West Indies captain Nicholas Pooran tried to stir a fightback, hitting 24 from eight balls, including three sixes, but it was a short and sweet visit to the crease as he was soon dismissed when he was run out by a combination of Samson and Pant.

Rovman Powell (24) was the only other player to pass 20 as West Indies fell apart in their chase, with Avesh Khan (2-17) keeping things tight with the ball.

The writing was on the wall as the wickets continued to pile up, with Arshdeep Singh taking three for just 12 runs from 19 deliveries, and he wrapped up the win with the dismissal of Obed McCoy as West Indies were bowled out for just 132.

McCoy anything but crisp with the ball

It was not particularly reasonable to expect McCoy to save the innings with the bat, but had he not conceded so many runs with the ball, he may not have been put in that position in the first place.

Though no other West Indies bowler took more wickets than him (two), he conceded 66 runs from his four overs, including six maximums. No other West Indies bowler saw more than one ball fly over the boundary for six.

Efficient India spread the wealth to post imposing total

There were no breath-taking innings from either team, yet India still managed to reach almost 200.

In fact, this was the highest T20I total for India ever when none of their batters have reached 50, with only Dinesh Karthik (six) failing to reach 20 runs of the seven batsmen who featured.
