Chelsea suffered a shock home defeat at the hands of Sunderland
Recommended bet: Draw and both teams to score
Tottenham and Chelsea meet in a London derby on Saturday evening with the Blues aiming to bounce back from a surprise loss to promoted Sunderland last week.
Spurs, meanwhile, may be out of the League Cup after losing to Newcastle on Wednesday but will be confident they can build on their 3-0 win at Everton.

Team news
Archie Gray is the latest Tottenham player to pick up an injury after hurting his groin this week and so the midfielder has been ruled out.
Defender Cristiano Romero has not played since the win at Leeds in early October while Destiny Udogie has also been sidelined with a knee complaint. The good news is that goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario is fit having been forced to miss the midweek trip to Newcastle.
Chelsea striker Liam Delap is serving a ban after being shown a red card in the midweek League Cup win at Wolves. Cole Palmer remains unavailable due to a groin issue while centre-back Benoit Badiashile is expected to be out for at least another month.
The stats
Spurs have won just one of their last 13 Premier League games against Chelsea (D2, L10) and have lost the last four in a row since a 2-0 home win in February 2023.
Chelsea have won five of their six Premier League games against Spurs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (L1), earning more victories at the ground than any other visiting side.
Tottenham have won five of their nine Premier League matches this season (D2, L2), as many as they won in their last 26 games under Ange Postecoglou last season.
Chelsea have lost three of their last five Premier League matches (W2), more than they had lost in their previous 16 combined.
In just two of their previous 30 seasons have the Blues suffered four defeats in their opening 10 games of a season, doing so in 2015-16 (5) and 2023-24 (4).

Prediction
Tottenham and Chelsea is one of the classic fixtures in the Premier League and often throws up plenty of goalmouth action. It seems that this game will be no different as the two teams, along with Manchester City, are the joint-top scorers in the league with 17 goals each.
Spurs have not drawn a blank in the league since August while both teams have scored in all but two of Chelsea’s last 11 games across all competitions.
The rival clubs will both have a point to prove on Saturday beyond merely battling for bragging rights.
Thomas Frank’s side will be disappointed to be out of the League Cup after losing up at Newcastle while Chelsea’s home defeat by Sunderland denied Enzo Maresca’s side a place in the top four heading into November.
With the two sides showing patchy form and yet to build a run of consistency, they could cancel each other out and so a draw seems most likely. What does seem more certain is that there will be goals at both ends.
