Nottingham Forest are unbeaten in their last 10 games
Freiburg have won all six of their Europa League home games
Crystal Palace have drawn three of their last five home fixtures
The Europa League and UEFA Conference League finalists will be decided on Thursday as Aston Villa, Freiburg, Shakhtar Donetsk, and Strasbourg look to overturn first-leg deficits.
Aston Villa vs Nottingham Forest (Thursday, 8pm)
Nottingham Forest secured a first-leg win at City Ground last week and they can follow it up with a repeat of that 1-0 scoreline at Villa Park.
Unai Emery’s side lost for a third successive time against relegation-threatened Tottenham at the weekend and two of those matches ended 1-0, while the Tricky Trees continued their excellent run at Chelsea on Monday.
Their winning streak now sits at five games and they are unbeaten in 10. Two of their recent wins have been 1-0 scorelines, and they can secure a spot in the final on Thursday.
Score prediction: Aston Villa 0-1 Nottingham Forest
Freiburg vs Sporting Braga (Thursday, 8pm)
Sporting Braga were deserved 2-1 winners in the first leg, but Freiburg excel on their own patch and could take this tie to extra-time.
Breisgau-Brasilianer have won all six of their Europa League home games this season and three of their last five at home in all competitions, but they have kept only one clean sheet in that period.
Braga lost 2-1 at Santa Clara in their last trip away and have conceded exactly twice in each of their last three away defeats, including one against Ferencvaros in the Europa League.
Score prediction: Freiburg 2-1 Sporting Braga
Crystal Palace vs Shakhtar Donetsk (Thursday, 8pm)
A 3-1 win in the first leg puts Crystal Palace on course for their first-ever European final, and they will settle for shutting down Shakhtar Donetsk and protecting their lead.
The Eagles are unbeaten in seven competitive home games, but they have drawn three of those, each of which ended goalless.
Shakhtar have drawn two of their last five away games, one of which was in this competition against AZ Alkmaar.
Score prediction: Crystal Palace 0-0 Shakhtar Donetsk
Strasbourg vs Rayo Vallecano (Thursday, 8pm)
Rayo Vallecano were good value for their first-leg win last week, but they have lost three of their last four away games and were beaten 3-1 at AEK Athens in the last round, leaving Strasbourg as favourites to get the win on Thursday.
The hosts are in a spell of poor form, but they put four past Mainz in the home leg of the last round of the UEFA Conference League and, before their recent three-game losing streak at Stade de la Meinau, were unbeaten in eight at home.
They have conceded in 13 of their last 15 at home, though, so expect the Spanish side to strike back.
Score prediction: Strasbourg 3-1 Rayo Vallecano
