Bristol City sit fourth in the Championship table and they will be looking to strengthen their hold on a top-six spot when Birmingham City visit Ashton Gate on Saturday.

Bristol City have been better on their travels this season with 11 of their 19 points coming away from Ashton Gate, but their midweek home win over a strong Southampton side could prove to be a turning point.

The visit of Birmingham City on Saturday provides the Robins with a chance to record consecutive home wins for the first time since April, and they look well placed to claim three points against a side who have struggled for consistency.

Blues won 1-0 at Preston in their own midweek assignment but they were perhaps lucky to leave Deepdale with all three points and their overall form remains concerning.
