Chelsea take on Ajax in the Champions League at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night and will eye an opportunity to make it six points from nine in the league phase.
The Dutch side have endured an awful start to their campaign in Europe, losing 2-0 at home to Inter MIlan before going down 4-0 to Marseille in France.

The hosts will assess midfielder Enzo Fernandez, who has a knee issue, but Cole Palmer is out with a groin injury and is joined on the sidelines by Levi Colwill, Benoit Badiashile and Liam Delap.
Malo Gusto was sent off against Nottingham Forest on Saturday but will be available as the defender will serve his ban in the Premier League.
Ajax left-back Owen Wijndal is out with a muscle injury, while Branco van den Boomen is unavailable due to a back issue and striker Kasper Dolberg is also sidelined with an abdominal problem.
The stats
This is the third European meeting between Chelsea and Ajax, the two sides having met twice in the 2019/20 Champions League group stage. The Blues won 1-0 in Amsterdam before a 4-4 draw at Stamford Bridge.
Ajax are winless in their last 11 major European matches against English clubs, drawing twice and losing nine since a 1-0 win over Tottenham in April 2019 and have failed to score a single goal in any of the last five.
Chelsea have lost just two of their last 12 Champions League matches at Stamford Bridge, both of which were against Real Madrid, in the quarter-finals in 2021/22 and 2022/23.
Ajax have lost their last five major European competition matches and have not lost six in a row since doing so between April 1988 and September 1989.
With Ajax on a five-game losing run in major European competitions, this will be the seventh time Chelsea have faced a team who have lost their last 5+ games in Europe – they have won their previous six by an aggregate score of 14-0.

Prediction
Chelsea have won four of their last five games in all competitions and face an Ajax side who have claimed only one victory in six matches both domestically and in Europe.
The Blues had a tough Champions League opener against Bayern Munich in Germany before sealing a narrow 1-0 win over Benfica and head into Wednesday night's game confident they have what it takes to make it six points from nine.
Ajax, however, were beaten 4-0 by Marseille on Matchday 2 and are one of only two clubs yet to score in the Champions League this season.
The Dutch giants also already trail Eredivisie leaders Feyenoord by nine points, so this is far from a vintage Amsterdam side.
Scoring a goal might be the best they can hope for as Chelsea are surely set to make home advantage count.
However, even that might be a push as the Blues have now kept two clean sheets in their last three matches.
Enzo Maresca's men travel to Qarabag before hosting Barcelona in their next Champions League games and a win over Ajax would put the Blues in a strong position as they look to progress to the knockout phase.
