Joleon Lescott believes Bukayo Saka has what it takes to captain Arsenal

Joleon Lescott returns as we tee up an action-packed weekend — and the former England star is backing Bukayo Saka to hit even greater heights for Arsenal.

Along with Lescott's exclusive Premier League column, which also includes his predictions for all 10 Matchday 29 fixtures, we have a feast of preview content for you to tuck into today.

Captain Saka?

Saka, 20, was heartbroken last summer when he a missed from the spot as Italy pipped the Three Lions to Euro 2020 glory at Wembley.

But the Arsenal starlet has rebounded in fine fashion this season, with eight goals and five assists in 25 league appearances.

And as the Gunners prepare to host Leicester on Sunday, Lescott is tipping the Londoner to become a future captain at the Emirates.

Premier League preview

Lining up alongside Lescott's expert analysis is our in-depth Premier League preview.

With leaders Manchester City not in action until they head to London to face Crystal Palace on Monday, all eyes will be on second-placed Liverpool tomorrow.

Jurgen Klopp's Reds are off to the South Coast for a lunchtime kick-off at Brighton and victory will bring them to within three points of City once again — for 48 hours at least.

All around Europe

As regular LiveScore users will know, our focus extends well beyond the English top flight.

In Italy, AC Milan are just two points clear of city rivals and reigning champs Inter Milan.

Milan are widely expected to pick up a win at home to Empoli tomorrow and Simone Inzaghi's Inter will be desperate to remain hot on their heels when they travel to Torino on Sunday night.

Matchday 28 in LaLiga kicks off tonight with Atletico Madrid hosting Cadiz.

But with leaders Real Madrid not playing Mallorca until Monday, second-placed Sevilla will want to keep the pressure on by beating Rayo Vallecano on Sunday.

As has become the norm in Germany, Bayern Munich are marching towards the Bundesliga title.

Bayern head into Matchday 26 with a nine-point advantage over closest rivals Borussia Dortmund, who face Arminia on Sunday.

But by the time Dortmund play, the champions could have extended their lead at the top to a whopping 12 points by beating Hoffenheim tomorrow afternoon.

Transfer Talk

The focus may be on the matches coming thick and fast this weekend but clubs are already plotting summer swoops for some of the biggest names around.

Today, our Transfer Talk round-up leads on Serie A giants Juventus, who are rumoured to be preparing to move for Chelsea ace Christian Pulisic.

And there is more

As if all of the above was not enough, LiveScore Daily is here to keep you up to date on the biggest news from the football world.
