Today on LiveScore: Champions League draw and stars of the weekend
A jam-packed December continues as Europe's biggest clubs find out who they will face in the last 16 of the Champions League.
And with Premier League Matchday 17 kicking off tomorrow, we look back at the players who starred for their teams at the weekend.
Champions League draw
After the group stage concluded last week, the 16 clubs left in the Champions League found out who they will face in the first knockout round today.
A second draw was held at 2pm UK time after the embarrassing mishap for European football's governing body.
It came after Manchester United were wrongly drawn against Villarreal, who they faced in the group stage, before being left out of the pot when Atletico Madrid discovered their opponents following the mistake.
United will now face Atleti, while their original opponents Paris Saint-Germain take on Real Madrid in a blockbuster clash.
Mount vs Gallagher
Conor Gallagher’s rapid rise continued with two goals, the second a stunner, in Crystal Palace’s 3-1 victory over Everton.
The Chelsea loanee, 21, has been Palace's standout player under Patrick Vieira and the Blues faithful are dreaming about his potential.
He would not be the first academy product to break into the first team in recent seasons with Mason Mount becoming the darling of Stamford Bridge over the past two-and-a-half years.
We compare the Chelsea midfielders, who both seemingly have the world at their feet.
Stars of the weekend
Undoubtedly one of the stars of a Premier League weekend dominated by an array of soft penalties was Gallagher.
The three title challengers in City, Liverpool and Chelsea all won, while United also scraped past Norwich.
We pick out the other players who also caught the eye during Matchday 16.

The January transfer window edges ever closer and the rumour mill is starting to sizzle.
