Harry Kane fired England to their first European Championship final, beating Denmark 2-1 in extra time at Wembley.
The England skipper converted his own penalty rebound midway through the additional period after Raheem Sterling had been fouled in the box.
Denmark took the lead after 30 minutes with a ferocious Mikkel Damsgaard free-kick which left Jordan Pickford beaten all ends up.
But the Three Lions stuck to their guns and levelled nine minutes later when Simon Kjaer put Bukayo Saka's low cross through his own goal.
Try as they might, England could not find a winner in normal time, leading to 30 additional minutes.
Gareth Southgate's side were on top throughout with their patience eventually rewarded. They will now face Italy at Wembley on Sunday.
