A new month begins and summer is officially here in the UK.

The Flat season is in full swing and racegoers are returning to the grandstands to see the action.

We've lined up our best picks on the Tuesday card at Brighton (1pm-4.25pm; seven races) for racing fans looking to get in on the seaside action at one of Britain's most picturesque tracks.

LiveScore Five to Follow at Brighton on Tuesday

1pm - Injured Jockeys Fund Handicap (7f)

Greycious Girl put up a personal-best when scoring at Lingfield over a furlong shorter 12 days ago and may go off favourite to score again, but she's 6lb higher now and Ed Millman's charge has to find plenty more.

Little Sunflower has hit the crossbar a couple of times lately, while Portelet Bay and Thistleton are others of note.

Gary Moore's NEMINOS ran his best race on seasonal bow over C&D a fortnight ago, finishing a never-nearer fifth in the end after racing a little keenly in rear early on.

Tom Queally takes over riding duties and the Showcasing gelding looks a solid each-way candidate in the opener at forecast odds of around 10/1.

LiveScore selection: Neminos

1.35pm - Sky Sports Racing Sky 415 Handicap (7f)

Arabic Charm and Glasvegas are a pair of last time out winners and both will fancy their chances again but it's very hard to knock the credentials of DE VEGAS KID given his rock-solid Brighton record.

He's raced nine times around this circuit at 7f/1m and has been out of the first three only once - with four wins already.

He was slowly away here a fortnight ago before finishing strongly in third.

Mollie Carroll can ease his burden to the tune of 7lb with her claim in the saddle now and they look set for a big run at odds of 5/1.

LiveScore selection: De Vegas Kid

2.45pm - Watch Free Race Replays On attheraces.com Handicap (1m2f)

Friday's C&D winner Contingency Fee has been pulled from this line-up and that leaves the door wide open for COULDN'T COULD SHE to bag this race for a second time having also scored in 2019.

Adam West's Sixties Icon mare is only 2lb higher in the ratings now and last month's close second on soft-ground at Lingfield (first run since December) should leave her cherry-ripe for this.

Her best turf form has come on good ground or faster so things have come right for her today.

She may start favourite at around 9/4 and looks the one to be with.

LiveScore selection: Couldn't Could She

3.20pm - Racing Welfare Handicap (1m)

Dawn View (right) is looking for a quick double after winning at Brighton on Friday.
Dawn View (right) is looking for a quick double after winning at Brighton on Friday.

DAWN VIEW stacked them up behind with a front-running masterclass over 1m2f here on Friday, Stuart Williams' daughter of Dawn Approach making it back-to-back Brighton wins in the process.

She really does appear to be thriving at this moment in time and so it's not a shock to see connections seeking to strike again while the iron is hot.

A 5lb penalty may not halt her ambitions and she's worth sticking with as favourite, likely at around 7/4 this afternoon.

LiveScore selection: Dawn View

3.55pm - Sky Sports Racing Virgin 535 Handicap (6f)

Batchelor Boy is dropping in class at Brighton today

Kendergarten Kop is another of Friday's winners looking for the quick back-up and will make a Brighton hat-trick bid.

He's worth taking on from this new mark, giving weight to the field.

BATCHELOR BOY has been plying his trade in stronger company since joining George Boughey's string over the winter.

His handicap mark has tumbled 9lb as a result and, coupled with the application of first-time blinkers, he could make a positive move now dropped in grade.

Nicola Currie rides for the first time and she's got a stunning 41 per-cent strike-rate (7-17) for this yard over the last 12 months so forecast odds of 7/1 look generous.

LiveScore selection: Batchelor Boy
