Enzio Boldewijn’s late goal earned Wealdstone a deserved point in a 1-1 draw at home to Hartlepool.

The visitors opened the scoring after 21 minutes when David Ferguson’s cross was prodded home by Gary Madine – his sixth goal in as many games.

Ferguson hit the outside of a post five minutes later and Emmanuel Dieseruvwe fired over from a tight angle in the 36th minute as Pools looked for a second.

Wealdstone substitute Adrian Mariappa forced goalkeeper Adam Smith into a point-blank save and Hartlepool defender Dan Dodds cleared a Kallum Cesay effort off the line at the start of the second half.

Sam Ashford had a goal ruled out for offside and Micah Obiero had a shot well saved by Smith as the home side kept up the pressure, and it eventually told with four minutes remaining when Boldewijn drilled home from distance.
