More goals could be on the agenda at Molineux
More goals could be on the agenda at Molineux

- Both have scored in three of Wolves' last five home games
- Both teams have scored in 13 of Luton's last 14 matches
- Recommended bet:
Both teams to score and over 2.5 goals

Wolves were on the wrong end of another controversial VAR decision on Wednesday as Hee-Chan Hwang's would-have-been equaliser was ruled out for a supposed foul and their winless run now stands at seven games.

They will be looking to snap that streak against 18th-placed Luton on Saturday, with the Hatters managing just one win in their last 14 outings.

Coincidentally, their sole victory came against Bournemouth, who were 1-0 winners against Wolves in the week.

Rob Edwards' side has looked lively of late and there could be plenty of goals at Molineux.

Team news

Wolves can welcome back Matheus Cunha to the starting side after his return off the bench at Bournemouth on Saturday and the Brazilian will partner Hwang in attack, while Jean-Ricner Bellegarde is also nearing a return and could be among the substitutes.

Santiago Bueno was forced off in that defeat, however, meaning he misses out alongside Pedro Neto, Craig Dawson, Leon Chiwome and Noha Lemina.

Luton are still without Tom Lockyer, Mads Andersen, Chiedozie Ogbene, Marvelous Nakamba, Amari'i Bell, Elijah Adebayo, Jacob Brown and Dan Potts.

Their injury crisis may have worsened in their defeat to Brentford as Issa Kabore and Reece Burke were forced off in that 5-1 drubbing, with both facing late fitness tests ahead of this clash.

The stats

- Both teams have scored in 13 of Luton's last 14 matches

- Wolves have lost their last four home games

- The Hatters have conceded a combined 10 goals in their last two outings

- Both teams to score has occurred in three of Wanderers' last five home games

- The same has landed in seven of Luton's last nine matches on the road

- Cunha has scored Wolves' last two goals

Prediction

Luton have struggled defensively this season
Luton have struggled defensively this season

Wolves may have drawn a blank in their last two outings but they will be boosted by the return to the starting XI of Cunha, who scored each of their last two goals.

It should also be noted that those blanks came against league leaders Arsenal and a solid Bournemouth side, suggesting they should snap their scoreless streak against Luton, who have conceded five goals in each of their last two matches.

A 5-1 defeat to Brentford was made worse by the Hatters losing two more defenders in the form of Burke and Kabore, meaning they will arrive at Molineux with few options at the back and the goals could flow for the hosts.

However, Luton have been potent all season and will not go down without a fight on Saturday.

Both teams have scored in 13 of their last 14 matches and they have netted two goals or more in games against Manchester City, Arsenal and Newcastle this season.

Both sides are missing plenty of defenders and given over 2.5 goals and both teams to score has occurred in three of Wolves' last five home games and seven of Luton's last nine on the road, it could pay to back another exciting affair at Molineux.
