There are seven matches taking place in the Premier League on Saturday as Liverpool aim to get their fading title hopes back on track, while there are plenty of intriguing fixtures that will have an impact on the battle for the European places and the fight to avoid the drop.

West Ham vs Liverpool (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Liverpool know they need a win if they are to keep on the coattails of Arsenal and Manchester City, while West Ham's hopes of European qualification look to have dissipated.

Both managers will want a response, but the added pressure of a frustrated West Ham crowd may work against the hosts.

Fulham vs Crystal Palace (Saturday, 3pm)

Crystal Palace's best spell of the season has secured their survival in the Premier League and Oliver Glasner's Eagles may not be finished yet.

Palace have beaten a trio of top-eight teams — Liverpool, West Ham and Newcastle — in their last three games and should be capable of picking up at least a point against Fulham on Saturday to continue their strong finish to the season.

Manchester United vs Burnley (Saturday, 3pm)

Manchester United trailed bottom club Sheffield United 2-1 after an hour of Wednesday's Premier League game at Old Trafford but the in-form Bruno Fernandes sparked a much-needed comeback from the hosts.

The United skipper equalised from the penalty spot before his fine left-footed strike put his side 3-2 up in the 81st minute and Fernandes looks a tempting option to score first against rejuvenated Burnley.

Newcastle vs Sheffield United (Saturday, 3pm)

Newcastle were poor against Palace, but back on home soil at St James' Park — where they have taken 10 points from the last 12 available — they will expect to have too much for their struggling visitors.

The Magpies were 8-0 winners when the two sides met in September and while a repeat of that scoreline on Saturday seems unlikely, they can still rack up the goals, as they have netted two or more in seven of their last nine home fixtures.

Wolves may have drawn a blank in their last two outings but they will be boosted by the return to the starting XI of Matheus Cunha, who scored each of their last two goals.

Relegation is unlikely for Everton now but they will not want to take their foot off the pedal and they have enough in their locker to edge Brentford.

The Bees have recorded back-to-back wins in the top flight but those came against bottom-three sides Sheffield United and Luton, and are their only two wins in their last 11 games.

Aston Villa vs Chelsea (Saturday, 8pm)

Aston Villa have hit form at the business end of the season and come into this contest following back-to-back wins in the Premier League, a run that includes their 2-0 triumph over leaders Arsenal at the Emirates.

Emery's troops have been excellent in the final third, failing to score in just one of their last 13 league assignments, and they will be relishing the chance to take on a fragile Chelsea.

Chelsea have struggled on the road, winning just two of their last 11 away league matches, and it looks like it will be a long night for them in the West Midlands.
