Premier League: Predictions for all three games on Saturday

Teams returning from European action and the weekend's two FA Cup semi-finals means a limited Premier League fixture list on Saturday, with just three games taking place.

Here are our experts' selections for the day's matches.

Luton vs Brentford (Saturday, 3pm)

Luton have been fun to watch since earning promotion to the Premier League and they could be involved in another thriller against Brentford.

The Hatters have won only one of their last 12 matches but both teams have scored in 12 of their 16 home games and only Manchester United and Sheffield United have given up more than their average of 17.5 shots allowed per game.

However, they remain in the survival hunt and a win over Brentford would see them jump from 18th to 16th, with the two teams directly above them, Everton and Nottingham Forest, due to meet on Sunday.

The Bees are 15th, so may feel they still need another win to be safe and Saturday could be the perfect game to take their season's tally from 32 to 35 points.

Like Luton, Thomas Frank's side likes to play on the front foot and any nerves are unlikely to get in the way of a great game.

Sheffield United vs Burnley (Saturday, 3pm)

Sheffield United and Burnley have both experienced brutal returns to the Premier League and will feel that only a win will do when they meet at Bramall Lane on Saturday.

Both have only been able to record just one victory since Christmas, with the Blades tallying just three wins all season to the Clarets' four.

Among those was a 5-0 home victory for Vincent Kompan's side in December's reverse fixture. Jay Rodriguez opened the scoring in the first minute with Jacob Bruun Larsen, Zeki Amdouni, Luca Koleosho and Josh Brownhill all getting on the scoresheet.

Blades forward Oliver McBurnie's first-half dismissal helped the Clarets' cause and that scenario almost epitomises a season in which the South Yorkshire side has been their own worst enemy.

Nowhere more obvious than that is in defence as they have conceded 84 goals in 32 Premier League matches and that type of fragility could be taken advantage of by the visitors from across the Pennines.

Wolves vs Arsenal (Saturday, 7.30pm)

Arsenal can go back to the top of the Premier League with a win at Wolves but it could prove to be an awkward evening at Molineux.

The Gunners' Champions League dreams were dashed by Wednesday's 1-0 defeat to Bayern Munich and they need to pick themselves up and focus, with the league title the sole piece of silverware still available to them.

Wolves have not had the rub of the green this season and are drifting towards a mid-table finish.

Gary O'Neil's side have, though, beaten Manchester City, Tottenham and Chelsea at home and will not be afraid to take the game to their visitors in front of an expectant Molineux crowd.

Four of the last seven meetings between these two have finished 2-1 and the Gunners could go top with a repeat of that scoreline.
