A test which was shaping up to be a thriller was finally stopped on its tracks by the elements. The 3rd and final Test of this series begins at Dominica on the 23rd.
Roach: The wicket was not assisting the pacers a lot. We needed to be accurate and patient. Fidel bowled really well and was unlucky not to have got the rewards, Shillingford was outstanding, he displayed a lot of patience on an unresponsive track. We are looking forward to the Dominica Test on Monday and hope for a better show.
Man of the match:-KAJ Roach (West Indies):- Overs:18 - Maiden:4 - Runs:41 - Wickets:5 - Econ:2.27
Sammy: We were positive about the chase. We were going after the target, we lost a couple of early wickets but we still had Shiv and Narsingh to take care. We went in as an ODI match and I felt that by going after the bowling, I could have put pressure on them. I am very happy for Kemar, he has had a tough time last year and it was nice to see him do well here. We know our conditions here pretty well. Kirk is unfortunately out of this series, we will look to square the series in Dominica.
Michael Clarke: I think it was going to be a good Test if not for the rain. Disappointing for both teams and the fans. We will now go to Dominica and will look to seal the series. We will need to do better in Dominica, we have been pretty inconsistent in the series. Lyon copped a fair bit in the media and it was good for him to show up. We will look at the conditions in Dominica and decide upon the combination. The wicket was very slow out here and it hampered our stroke making ability. We will look to do well in Dominica.
The PoS Test has been ruined by rain. Australia did well to snatch a vital first innings lead thanks to Nathan Lyon's 5-wicket haul. West Indies fought back in splendid fashion with Roach leading them from the front with his maiden 10-wicket haul. Darren Sammy surprised one and all by striding into the middle at No. 3 and taking the attack to the visitors with some bold strokeplay. Play was badly affected on the final two days to render this Test as a tame draw. The teams now move on to Dominica for the final Test starting on Monday.

The rain has had the final say. The Test has been drawn and Australia have retained the Sir Frank Worrell Trophy.
It is still raining. Hope for any more action is fast fading.
Very heavy rain is falling here at Queens Park Oval. Not sure when to expect play again.
18:15 GMT: The entire square has been covered. There are a few umbrellas up as well. One hopes that it is just a passing shower and the light becomes better, this was shaping up to be a thriller.
The ground-staff are out with the covers, the umpires initially ask them not to cover the pitch. As I say, it has started to rain and the square is being covered.
Both umpires confer with each other and they have a chat with Clarke as well. The light is not good enough and off they go. Another twist in the match, Sammy was leading this chase pretty well.

No Run. Tossed up on off, Sammy lunges forward in defence.
10.5Beer to Sammy, 0

No Run. Loud appeal for LBW. This was the quicker arm ball that spins back in from outside off, Sammy was looking to let it go and is rapped on the pads, it did not seem to be spinning back enough to hit the stumps. Umpire Gould says NO and the Aussies decide against challenging him.
10.4Beer to Sammy, 2b

2 BYES. Another couple of byes, this was tossed up outside off and stays very low, Sammy aims a mighty swish and misses, so does Wade, another couple of byes.
10.3Beer to Sammy, 0
---
No Run. Yorker length delivery on the stumps, Sammy digs it back towards the bowler.
The umpires confer with each other, must be about the fading light.
10.2Beer to Sammy, 4b
---
4 BYES. Handy runs for WI. This one is nicely tossed up on off and spins away, Sammy attempts a big heave ho and is beaten by the lack of bounce, so does Wade. The ball races away to the fence.
