17.6Watson to R.Sharma ( 112/9 )
---
Catch OUT. Stunning fielding! Who said IPL doesn't produce quality cricket? Just check this and you will have your answers! Rahul Sharma lofts this to long off, it seemed to be heading over the ropes but Botha runs back and holds on to the catch, he knew that he would be going over past the boundary and threw it back to long on where Rahane anticipates it and holds on.
17.2Watson to Mathews ( 110/8 )
---
Catch OUT. Shane Watson - Rahane partnership in action again and Mathews walks back. Fullish one on the middle stump line, Mathews looks to loft it over long on but the bat turns in his hands, ends up hitting it straight to the man there.
16.2Tait to B.Kumar ( 106/7 )
---
Clean BOWLED. Unplayable. Too good for Bhuvneshwar. Might have been too good for some of the best batsmen. Full, fast, pitching on middle and swinging away sharply, Bhuvneshwar played all around it and missed it completely, turned back to see his off stump knocked out. Just. Too. Good.
14.1J.Botha to S.Smith ( 89/6 )
---
Catch OUT. Smith falls and now Pune's fans can stop hoping for a miracle. Flighted up by Botha, Smith looks to heave across but mistimed it high towards long on, Hodge runs in and judges it well to take a good catch. 4 more wickets or 5.5 more overs to complete the formalities.
10.1J.Botha to Ferguson ( 60/5 )
---
LBW OUT. First impression: going down the leg. And I guess it was indeed going down the leg side but that doesn't matter. Flat and angled in, Ferguson looks to flick across but is hit in front of leg, the ball was spinning and would have missed leg stump. A pretty harsh decision by Tarapore, and Pune's troubles continue.
4.5Chandila to Majumdar ( 26/4 )
---
Catch OUT. Chandila!! Where were you all these days? 4th wicket for him and he is absolutely unstoppable. A soft dismissal this, once again he just releases the ball slowly and invites Majumdar forward, he checks his shot in the end but the ball lobs back for a simple return catch. Pune are going nowhere in this innings.
2.1Chandila to Uthappa ( 11/3 )
---
Stump OUT. And he has got a hat-trick! The first of this year's IPL! Boy, what a day for him! Rahul Dravid couldn't remember his name at the toss and I'm sure he won't forget him now after this performance! Good delivery to get his hat-trick too, flights this slowly and gets it to drift away slightly, Uthappa was lured forward into the drive and he missed the ball, Goswami was alert and whipped the bails quickly.
0.6Chandila to Ganguly ( 3/2 )
---
Stump OUT. And Ganguly's miserable series continues. Unlucky dismissal though, he missed a flick and the ball rolled off the thigh pad to the keeper, Ganguly didn't have any idea about where the ball went and took a couple of yards out, Goswami was alert and whipped the bails before the batsman could return. Pune in familiar position: 3-2.
0.5Chandila to Ryder ( 3/1 )
---
Catch OUT. Chandila strikes in the first over and once again Pune don't get a good start. Gentle flight on middle stump line, Ryder dances down the track and looks to loft, he isn't to the pitch of it but goes through with the shot only to hole out towards mid on, Watson runs back a couple of yards and takes it.
